Between October 2012 and December 2013, Lexmark introduced the MX710 and MX810 series of monochrome MFPs. OEM-rated print speeds ranged from 55 pages per minute (ppm) to 70 ppm with duty cycles of 275,000 and 300,000 pages per month.
All but the MX710 model utilize the same 6,000 page low yield, 25,000 page high yield and 45,000 page extra high yield toner cartridges, along with a 100,000 page yield drum unit. The MX710 uses only the low and high yield toner cartridges along with the drum unit. However, cartridge SKUs vary depending upon the market region in which they are sold. Replacement toner cartridges are available in Use and Return (high and low yield) and Non-Return (high yield) versions. Drum units are available in Use and Return versions only.
All models ship with Return Program starter toner cartridges and drum units. The MX710’s starter toner cartridge yields up to 10,000 pages, where all other models’ starter toner cartridges yield up to 25,000 pages.
All toner cartridges require chips for the printers to function correctly.
